From November 14 to November 18, 2022, ILEA Bangkok in collaboration with the United States Secret Service (USSS) hosted the Basic Investigations of Computer and Electronic Crimes Program (BICEP): Session 8 in Bangkok, Thailand. The BICEP, is a one-week training program designed to prepare law enforcement personnel how to identify, examine and respond to a variety of electronic and cyber-crime investigations.
There were 23 officers from Indonesia, Malaysia,Thailand,Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. The participants learned the fundamentals of computer hardware, networks, hacking techniques, information security, Internet resources, and electronic evidence handling. Additionally, technology, tools, and equipment available in the law enforcement arena were presented in this course.
