ILEA Bangkok in partnership with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) held the Fraudulent Documents and International Border Interdiction training (Virtual), December 7-10, 2021, with 40 participants who are frontline custom officers, border security officers, and investigators from 7 ILEA Bangkok subscribing countries.
The joint CBP and HSI virtual training is intended to provide the participants not only techniques used in import and export operations, but also the identification of fraudulent documents, imposter detection, and behavioral analysis. The virtual training further covers the topic of human trafficking and forced labor, highlighting trafficking indicators and questions to ask the victims.
