ILEA Bangkok, in coordination with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), launched the inaugural Fraudulent Documents and International Border Interdiction Training, February 10-21, 2020, at the ILEA Bangkok campus.
The joint CBP and HSI training with 45 participants from nine subscribing countries emphasized the examination techniques used in import and export operations and contraband discovery. The participants were aided by the CBP and HSI instructors with useful methods to identify and assess concealment in commercial vehicles, border passengers, fraudulent documents, and utilizing facial features to detect imposters.
