The 8th International Border Interdiction Training by CBP

On September 16-20, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), in coordination with ILEA Bangkok, presented the 8th iteration of the International Border Interdiction Training on the campus of ILEA Bangkok. The one-week training with 41 law enforcement officers from 8 ASEAN countries focused on customs operations and techniques to support and enhance capabilities of the frontline officers and help strengthen the border security of the participant’s countries.

The in-class lectures and practical exercises, designed by CBP instructors, included import-and-export procedures, commodity and passenger examination, and document analysis.
