On May 15-16, 2024, the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Bangkok, Thailand held its first ILEA Day 2024 Regional Celebration. In this momentous occasion the Academy honored 21 distinguished alumni delegates from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. The gathering served as a platform for these accomplished alumni professionals to share their success stories which demonstrated the value of their ILEA training in combating transnational crime. Also, the Alumni participated in a study visit to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the Royal Thai Police, collaborated with their fellow Alumni and ILEA Bangkok executives and received prestigious certificates of appreciation.
On May 15, 2024, the Regional Celebration commenced with the delegates networking and presenting their remarkable success stories. Through 100’s of narratives collated from Alumni throughout 2023 and these narratives were chosen as they underscored the profound impact that the ILEA training courses had on combating transnational crime. Through compelling accounts, the Alumni attendees showcased the application of their acquired knowledge, skills, and collaborative strategies in addressing diverse challenges, spanning drug enforcement, human trafficking, wildlife trafficking, digital scams, as well as initiatives in training fellow professionals and fostering personal growth.
With each delegate taking the stage to succinctly articulate their experiences, the spectrum of successes illuminated the breadth and depth of ILEA's influence on law enforcement professionals across the region.

On May 16, the festivities continued as delegates were bestowed with honorable certificates from ILEA Bangkok executives in a morning ceremony. Subsequently, the alumni embarked on an enlightening study visit to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), where they gained insights into cutting-edge initiatives such as the Big Data Center and Real Time Crime Center, enhancing their understanding of contemporary law enforcement practices.

The celebration concluded with an evening of camaraderie aboard a dinner cruise along the picturesque Chao Phraya River,against the backdrop of Bangkok's shimmering skyline. Where the Alumni delegates reflected on their collective achievements and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the shared ILEA mission of strengthening the law enforcement global cooperation network to combat transnational crime.
