Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) : Session 8

On October 3-7, 2022, ILEA Bangkok and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) held the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Session 8. This course provided 19 participants from active police units in 4 subscribing countries with an understanding of current methodologies used to protect and regulate IPR. Additionally, participants could apply contemporary investigative strategies and techniques used to conduct criminal investigations, and or interdict items that are in violation of IPR statutes. Participants learned how partnership with industry representatives can aid in the interdiction, identification, and seizure of items, along with the investigation and/or prosecution of individuals who violate IPR statutes.
