From August 28th to September 1st, 2023, the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) and Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) organized a dynamic training course,Leadership for Women in Law Enforcement: Session 9 in Bangkok, Thailand. Attended by 34 female officers, the program aimed to empower female law enforcement personnel and criminal justice officials to become effective leaders.
Participants engaged in discussions on gender-specific communication, human behavior understanding, leadership traits, and career planning. The course uniquely focused on women's perspectives, enabling attendees to build a supportive network and bridge gender gaps.
The collaborative effort between ILEA and FLET C showcased their commitment to global law enforcement improvement. Equipped with new skills, attendees return to their units to share knowledge and drive positive change. This program marks a stride towards diverse and inclusive law enforcement leadership, empowering women to shape a progressive future for the field.
