Successful Launch of Inaugural Training Course: Law Enforcement and Community Outreach

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), together with the International Law Enforcement Academy-Bangkok, successfully launched Law Enforcement and Community Outreach, a training course, conducted November 26-30, 2018, designed to provide regional law enforcement agencies within Asia with a comprehensive overview of community outreach programs and their practical value to the agencies and communities they serve. Participants discussed diversity within their communities, effective ways to engage community leaders, efficient uses of social and mainstream media platforms, and the value of leveraging existing programs and partnerships with other law enforcement agencies.Shown below, are participants actively engaged as they developed group presentations; and instructors from the FBI, who provided guidance during this valuable learning experience.
