ILEA Bangkok Highlights its 2018 Close-out Courses: Protection Detail Briefing and Wildlife Border Inspection Training

On December 14, 2018, ILEA Bangkok held commencement ceremonies for 59 participants from both the Protection Detail Briefing Course (PDB) and the Wildlife Border Inspection Training (WBIT).  The PDB, taught by the U.S. Secret Service at the Law Enforcement Tactical Training Center in Cha Am, Thailand, introduced to participants, fundamental protective procedures and techniques to protect dignitaries and government officials.  WBIT, taught by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, at the Rama Gardens Hotel-Bangkok, included both lectures and practical exercises that reinforced personnel capabilities to combat wildlife smuggling and inspection issues.
