In-person Training Resumes with Major Events Security Coordination Course

ILEA Bangkok resumed the first in-person training program of the year with the Major Events Security Coordination Course, March 14-18, 2022, in Phuket, Thailand.

The Major Event Security Coordination Course taught by U.S. Secret Service (USSS) with presentations from Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) consisted of 46 participants who are middle-and-senior-level law enforcement officials from Indonesia and Thailand.

The training program was designed for the participants to construct and develop strategies, as well as implement those plans for upcoming large events like the APEC Summit and the G20 Bali Summit. This interactive course also illustrated the enthusiasm and constructive ideas from the participants through tabletop exercises and group discussions.
