Narcotics Investigations Conduct Surveillance and Tactical Drills

Narcotics Investigations, Session 5 (NIC 5), instructed by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), January 21-February 1, 2019, at the Law Enforcement Tactical Training Center, in Cha-am, Thailand, consisted of 29 participants from three countries.  

NIC 5 focused on fundamental building blocks, knowledge and skills required for law enforcement officers to assist them to further develop investigations in efforts to interdict narcotics smuggling and dismantle drug trafficking organizations. 

Several topics such as surveillance operations, raid planning exercises, and tactical training were taught during the session. Shown, are practical exercises that featured tactical drills.
