From October 7-11, 2024, 30 law enforcement officers from five countries participated in the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigations (OMG): Session 1, co-hosted by ILEA Bangkok and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). This specialized course is designed to enhance the capacity of law enforcement to address labor trafficking. It covers U.S. policy guidelines and recent legislative developments related to labor trafficking, along with victim identification techniques and best practices for working with victims. A key focus is also on securing convictions against traffickers. Additionally, the course includes training on investigating entities involved in importing goods produced through forced labor, equipping officers with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle this critical issue.
