PDAS Littlejohn Visited ILEA Bangkok

On December 12, 2022, the International Law Enforcement Academy in Bangkok, Thailand was honored to host Ms. Jennifer R. Littlejohn, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary from the Department of State’s Bureau of Oceans and International Environment and Scientific Affairs during her visit to the ILEA Bangkok facility.

ILEA Executive Leaders, Director Andrew Cunney and Police Major General Kasemsunti Yoosooksomboon provided PDAS Littlejohn with an overview of ILEA Bangkok's mission and highlighted the importance of training and the alumni networking program in combating transnational crime, especially wildlife trafficking.  Additionally, Director Cunney emphasized how ILEA training helps strengthen the regional cooperation between law enforcement professionals throughout Southeast Asia.

Furthermore, PDAS Littlejohn was provided a tour of the ILEA Bangkok facilities and had the opportunity to observe a training session on prosecuting environmental crime.
