Prosecuting Environmental Crime: Session 7

On December 12 -16, 2022, ILEA Bangkok and the Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD) held Prosecuting Environmental Crime: Session 7 course in Bangkok, Thailand. The one-week course objective was to teach participants how to promote environmental protection and deter environmental crimes on a regional and global level.  Also, the course covered how to conduct investigations, gather evidence, and the importance of international police cooperation.  Additionally, practical exercises and case studies were presented in the class, giving the participants the opportunity to discuss region-specific issues.  Lastly, the course provided 32 officers from eight (8) participating countries with the opportunity to network and build the professional relationships.
