TSA Administrator David Pekoske Visit at ILEA

In a significant gesture of international collaboration, U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator David Pekoske visited the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Bangkok on June 3, 2024. Administrator Pekoske was greeted by Director Efren Buenrostro Jr., Deputy Directors Kimberly Jones and Kyle Rego, and several staff members from ILEA, including high-ranking officials from the Royal Thai Police (RTP).

Following a brief introduction about the Academy and its mission, Administrator Pekoske delivered opening remarks to Pacific Island Country and RTP delegates attending the Executive Leadership and Case Management course led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). In his address, Administrator Pekoske highlighted the importance of leadership in law enforcement and the critical role of international cooperation in maintaining global security.

Administrator Pekoske's insights into effective leadership were well-received by the attendees. He emphasized the necessity of effective communication and shared valuable leadership insights from his tenure as the 26th Vice Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard and the TSA.
