ILEA Bangkok Band "The Bridge" Performed Live at JUSMAG

On September 17, 2020, the ILEA Bangkok band “The Bridge” supported the U.S. Embassy Bangkok’s Community Liaison Office and the Joint United States Military Advisory Group (JUSMAG) by performing live at the Embassy’s Welcome to Post reception. This was a particularly meaningful event given the challenges for new personnel to arrive at post due to the COVID-19 quarantine requirements and travel restrictions.

ILEA Bangkok was proud to support the US Embassy’s official “Welcome to Post” reception.

The ILEA band’s name “The Bridge” is derived from ILEA Bangkok’s motto “A Bridge to Cooperation.”  “The Bridge” members consist of U.S. Direct Hires and Royal Thai Police assigned to ILEA Bangkok and ILEA permanent staff such as interpreters, contractors, and Embassy Locally Employed Staff. The Bridge has recently performed at the Independence Day Celebration at the US Embassy Bangkok in 2019, the Foreign Anti-Narcotics and Crime (FANC) Holiday Reception in 2020, and regularly performs at ILEA Bangkok events.
