Chargé d'Affaires Elisa Maria da Silva of Timor-Leste Embassy Visits ILEA Bangkok

On June 25, 2020, ILEA Bangkok was honored to welcome Chargé d'Affaires Elisa Maria da Silva of the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Thailand to ILEA Bangkok. CDA Elisa met with ILEA Bangkok executives and discussed the opportunity for greater law enforcement training cooperation between ILEA Bangkok and Timorese law enforcement officers, who have been attending ILEA for more than 14 years. On this occasion, CDA Elisa also met and greeted two Tetum-Portuguese simultaneous interpreters who are now working at ILEA Bangkok.

The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste first joined ILEA Bangkok in 2007, and currently more than 400 Timorese have graduated from ILEA Bangkok training programs.
