The center’s main objectives are enhancing the capability of law enforcement and promoting relationships among law enforcers of participating countries.
ILEA-Bangkok was established on September 30, 1998 to further the international criminal justice community. Since ILEA Bangkok’s establishment, over 18,000 law enforcement personnel from participating countries have benefited from the training. Courses are developed annually to fit crime trends in the region, and based on learner's needs. Until 2004, the center focused on training supervisory officials and senior criminal justice executives, but many specialized courses have been added since then.
ILEA Bangkok strives to reach international standards for a learning organization by way of an efficient and effective method so that the students reach a high level of achievement.
