Drug Unit Commanders Course (DUCC): Session 21 (January 29 – February 2, 2024)

From January 29 to February 2, 2024, ILEA Bangkok and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) collaborated to organize the Drug Unit Commanders Course: Session 21 for 30 participants from 7 subscribing countries. The one-week course addressed topics from a manager's perspective, including operational planning, critical incident response, risk management, officer safety, leadership, ethics, and professionalism in law enforcement, confidential source management, controlled deliveries, and narco-terrorism.

The training aimed to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage drug units. After completing the course, the participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the topics covered and were better prepared to handle the challenges that come with managing drug units.
