Trafficking in Persons : Session 1 (September 2022)

On September 19-23, 2022, ILEA Bangkok and the U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) held the Trafficking in Persons : Session 1 training.  This specialized course was designed to build the capacity of law enforcement officials who monitor and combat trafficking in persons.  The course included training on the latest policy guidelines and legislative developments regarding trafficking in persons, victim identification techniques, as well as best practices for how to work with a victim and get a conviction of the trafficker.  There were 29 law enforcement officers from six subscribing counties who participated in the training course.
