Protection Detail Briefing Course: Session 1

On December 5 - 9, 2022, ILEA Bangkok and the United States Secret Service (USSS) held the Protection Detail Briefing Course (PDB) Session 1 at the Law Enforcement Tactical Training Center (LETTC) in Cha-am, Thailand. There were 28 law enforcement officers from Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand, participating in this course. The course introduced basic protective procedures, and techniques utilized to provide protection for varying levels of dignitaries and VIPs. The course also included training on Protective Emergency Medicine, Protective Motorcades, Protective Site Advance Teams, Protective Shift Formations, Explosives, and Incendiaries.
