On Aug 2, 2022, ILEA Bangkok’s Program Director Andrew Cunney honored Alumnus Senior Lieutenant Colonel Thi Huyen Tran of Vietnam for her successful achievements in combating transnational organized crime.  Furthermore, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran was one of ILEA Bangkok’s first distinguished Alumni, graduating in March 1999 from the Methamphetamine and Precursor Chemical Control Course, followed by the Complex Financial Investigations Course in July 1999.  Presently, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran serves as the Deputy Police Chief of the Counter-Narcotics Division at Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security.  With several decades of law enforcement experience, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran represents exceptional leadership and successful female law enforcement professionals worldwide.
