ILEA Directors Paid Courtesy Visit on TICA Director-General

On January 25, 2024, staff members of the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA), Bangkok met with Director General Ureerat Charoentoh of Thailand’s International Cooperation Agency (TICA) to discuss important administrative matters related ILEA’s operations within Thailand and its broader scope in the Indo-Pacific Region.

lLEA Director Efren Buenrostro Jr. and Police Major General Punvipa Rohitopakara, ILEA’s Executive Director with the assistance of ILEA Deputy Director Kimberly Jones and several ILEA Royal Thai Police senior ranking officials shared in the conversation and expressed their appreciation for TICA’s ongoing support and longstanding cooperation with the U.S and Thai governments in advancing the ILEA program.  

It is noteworthy to mention that Director General Charoentoh was appointed to be the new Thai Ambassador to Singapore.  All of ILEA staff congratulated her in her new appointment and wishes her the best of luck.
