ILEA Directors Meeting with Indonesian Police Attaché

On October 27, 2023, the International Law Enforcement Academy Bangkok was honored to welcome and host Police Colonel Endon Nurcahyo, the Indonesian Police Attaché, his assistant Gunther Leo, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Tri Suryanti from the Foreign Affairs Division to the academy. The visit marked another milestone in the ongoing collaboration between ILEA and the Indonesian National Police.

During the meeting, Colonel Nurcahyo met with Director Buenrostro and Deputy Executive Director Kittipon Kaewumporn, Police Colonel, to discuss current and future law enforcement training opportunities for the Indonesian Police, and they shared their objectives to strengthen law enforcement cooperation and enhance security within the region.

Director Buenrostro highlighted the long-standing partnership between ILEA and Indonesia since the establishment of ILEA in 1999.  Since that timeframe, over 2,800 Indonesian government officials have become ILEA alumni. Director Buenrostro and Colonel Nurcahyo solidified their commitment to work hand-in-hand to combat and eliminate transnational organized crime within the region.
